Roslyn Humble

The OCRF received a lovely letter in memory of Roslyn Gaye Humble, dated 23rd December 2010. We wish Geoffrey Humble all the best and thank him for his strength.

It is my sad duty to tell you that Roslyn Gaye Humble died at 6.10am on Saturday 18th December at St John of God Hospital, Geelong.

She died determined to not let the beast within her, beat her but her body had had enough and she died peacefully.

It was nearly four years ago when she was first diagnosed and the expectation was that she would likely be dead in six months.

However, she was a determined girl and proved the doctor's wrong.

Ros was sent off yesterday from St Paul's Anglican Church, Geelong, with all the trimmings - a full 'bells and whistles' requiem - with nearly 200 friends and relations to see her on her way. Her ashes will be interred in the St Paul's churchyard at a later date.
