The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation commenced a partnership in 2000 with Prince Henry’s Institute (PHI) based at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne. This is an independent medical research institute that brings together research scientists and surgeons dealing with the disease with the aim of the work being done by the OCRF to result in a screening test for early detection, and for those with the disease, complete remission.
