Hello friends,

3 years ago, almost to the day, my family was given the most terrifying news.
Our mum, a perfectly healthy and active woman, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Her only warning sign was some pain after a particularly big gym workout, which was taking longer than usual to settle.
She's doing great now, thanks to an amazing medical team and organisations like the OCRF, whose behind the scenes research means that effective treatments were available.

Since 2020 is off to a crazy start, I'm going to roll with it and give us all another topic to talk about. On Saturday the 4th of April 2020, I'm going to shave my head to raise money for the OCRF to put towards their research.

I really appreciate any and every donation, no amount is too small; it all counts.

My hair will be donated to Sustainable Salons, who distribute the hair to charitable organisations where they become wigs for people with medically induced hair loss.

Thank you all for your support - whether it is a donation or kind words of encouragement =)
