Hi! My name is Ashlee Dines. I’m 30 years old. My husband is Stephen and we are lucky enough to have two beautiful boys. After watching my mother go through treatment for advanced stage 3 ovarian cancer and beat it in 2018, we were beyond devastated when earlier this year we got the news she has stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer of the spleen. Dealing with the treatment of cancer on a day-to-day basis is hard, let alone while there is a worldwide pandemic. It has been tough. But my mum is tougher. In honour of her, I will be shaving my hair to raise awareness and precious funds for research into this devastating disease. If you would like to donate even a dollar, your generosity would mean the world to my mum and me – and maybe even someone you love one day. If you’re not in a position to donate but want to help, don’t underestimate the power of a share and comments as that puts it out there for other people to see. Thank you to everyone who donates.
