Team 'Trek for Yvette' is a group of twelve Lane Cove friends raising funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. We are doing this in remembrance of our beloved friend Yvette Brumley. We chose to raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation since there is no early detection screening currently available. Raising awareness around ovarian cancer and its symptoms won't save lives, early detection will. Together we can make a life-changing impact by raising funds to help find a way to improve early diagnosis and fund life-saving research.
