Bequests and Gifts In Will

MAKING A BEQUEST OR GIFT TO OCRF IN YOUR WILL

If ovarian cancer has touched your life or the life of a loved one, consider leaving the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) a gift in your Will. Also known as bequests, gifts in Wills create a lasting legacy, supporting the OCRF to invest in the very best ovarian cancer research in Australia.

Siobhan’s Legacy

Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation Community Ambassador, Associate Professor Siobhan O’Sullivan, has been living with terminal ovarian cancer since being diagnosed with late stage disease in 2020.

Siobhan is a passionate advocate for ovarian cancer research. Her wish is that future generations of women and girls live free from the threat of ovarian cancer. Being an academic herself, Siobhan understands the enormous value in supporting science to find the answers to early detection and improved treatments that will save and prolong the lives of ovarian cancer patients.

That is why she has included the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation in her Estate planning, leaving a gift in her Will as a lasting legacy.

How do I leave a gift for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation in my Will?

There are a variety of ways you can leave a bequest to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, including a cash or specific gift, a residuary gift or a share of Estate, and each way is an extremely valuable means of contributing to the work that the OCRF do.

Deciding what type of bequest to leave to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation should involve discussion with your loved ones and your Will created or updated in consultation with your qualified legal advisor or solicitor.

The OCRF team is also available to support you, please contact Georgie Herbert, our Philanthropy Manager on 0407 326 603 or via georgie.herbert@ocrf.com.au for further information.
