Learn about ovarian cancer, including risk factors, diagnosis, treatment, stories from our community, and where to find support.
Receiving an ovarian cancer diagnosis can be a very challenging and emotional time to navigate – both for patients, friends and family members. Often, ovarian cancer patients find comfort in speaking about their diagnosis and treatment with community members who have had a shared experience, as well professionals who are trained to offer support to cancer patients and their social networks.
It is important to know that there are many, various support services to assist – whether it be emotional, practical or physical.
As research is the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s primary focus, we do not offer direct ovarian cancer support services.
