GEORG JENSEN AND OCRF

Celebrating a decade of making a difference: Introducing the 2024 Georg Jensen OCRF pendant.

A special piece of jewelry that could help save the lives of millions of women and girls worldwide, and a symbol of Georg Jensen’s ongoing partnership and commitment to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

EVERY GEORG JENSEN OCRF PENDANT SYMBOLISES A COLLECTIVE MISSION

For the past decade, Georg Jensen has partnered with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation to help fund vital ovarian cancer research and improve outcomes for all those facing this insidious disease.

Over the duration of this partnership, Georg Jensen has raised more than $500,000 in funding for life-saving ovarian cancer research through sales of their specially designed pendants.

Crafted in both sterling silver and 18kt yellow gold, the 2024 Georg Jensen OCRF pendant serves as both a powerful and beautiful symbol of a collective mission.

Ovarian cancer takes the lives of more than 1,000 Australians every year. Each woman or girl leaves behind loved ones who keep their memory alive. This year, the Georg Jensen and OCRF honour the untold stories and lasting legacies of those lost to this devastating disease: mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, aunts, and friends whose lives, and stories were cut short.

Wearing this pendant can help start discussions about ovarian cancer, raising awareness of this widely unknown and silent disease, whilst supporting the research which could turn the tide for future generations.

Forget-Me-Knot Pendant

Crafted in both sterling silver and 18k yellow gold, the 2024 pendant design is based on the 1971 ‘Forget-Me-Knot' from Swedish designer Vivianna Torun, the first globally renowned female silversmith.

Vivianna designed the Forget-Me-Knot to remind the wearer never to forget herself, and this timeless inspiration has been extended to embrace the collective cause of the OCRF, honouring family members and friends affected by ovarian cancer.

The Georg Jensen OCRF pendant will be available to purchase from Georg Jensen stores nationally and online at www.georgjensen.com.au.

The silver pendant will retail for $250.00, with a $50.00 donation to the OCRF, and the 18kt yellow gold pendant will retail for $1195.00 with a $200 donation to the OCRF.

By purchasing a Georg Jensen OCRF pendant, you’re helping support potentially ground-breaking research that could save countless lives affected by ovarian cancer.

The 2024 Georg Jensen x OCRF ambassador

The 2024 campaign, centres around OCRF ambassador Suki Paddington, her husband Kevin and son Kai (pictured). Suki and her family tragically lost her mum Margy, to ovarian cancer in 2023. In telling Margy’s story, Suki honours her legacy, raises awareness and keeps her memory alive
