FROCK UP FOR OVARIAN CANCER

Frocktober is Australia’s most fashionable month-long fundraiser to raise awareness and vital funds for ovarian cancer research. It is an official campaign of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

Frocktober empowers anyone, anywhere to ‘Frock ovarian cancer’ for a day, a week or the whole month of October.

Something as simple as the clothes we wear has the potential to spark important conversations, raise awareness of the lack of an early detection test, the vague ovarian cancer symptoms, and demonstrate how we as a community can do more to raise critical funding ovarian cancer research.

WHEN IS FROCKTOBER?

Frocktober takes place every year from 1st October to 31st October, but registrations are open from late August each year, giving you plenty of time to register and get organised.

How do I get involved in Frocktober?

There are many different ways you can get involved in Frocktober and fundraise for ovarian cancer research. You can take on the original challenge of wearing 31 dresses in 31 days (one for the frockaholics!), wear one frock many different ways throughout the month, host a Frockstravaganza event, frock up in your workplace, or even host a frock sale. We encourage you to get creative and make it your own, while fundraising in support of researchers around Australia working to change what it means to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the future.
