As a donor to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF), you play a vital role in helping us to fund promising and innovative Australian-led research toward early detection, improved treatments, reduced recurrence, and ultimately prevention, of ovarian cancer.

You can trust us to be fair, honest and open and to treat you with respect and sensitivity.

Our donor promise

We treat you with respect

All support you give, regardless of value, makes a big difference to ovarian cancer research. We appreciate all contributions and will ensure you hear about the difference you’re making, with a big thank you from all of us.

We love hearing from our community of donors and supporters, so when you contact us you will receive the best possible service. You will be treated with a high level of professionalism and understanding. We are aware that some donors are in vulnerable situations, and as a result, we are unable to accept a donation if we believe you may lack capacity to make an informed decision in this regard.

We are clear, honest and open

You can trust us to use the funds you provide to us wisely in order to have the greatest impact. We promise to give you regular updates on how gifts are being used, via email and on the Foundation’s website, so that you can learn how your donations are making a difference.

Information about the Foundation’s vision, mission, programs, financial statements and governance are readily available via our website and the ACNC website.

However, you can make changes to your communication preferences, and opt out, of our communications at any time. If you do not want to make a donation, or if you wish to cease your donation, we will respect your decision. We endeavour to operate our fundraising to the highest standards

We also abide by the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s FIA Code, a voluntary code of conduct for Australian fundraising professionals that supports high quality standards and transparency in all our work.

We acknowledge and celebrate the special gift you’ve given us

You can trust us to acknowledge and celebrate the special gift you’ve given us. OCRF donors are acknowledged throughout the year in various ways, which may include on our website and annual report.
