Frocktober

Frocktober 2026 is here! Register and fundraise for ovarian cancer research

September 13, 2026

Preparations are in full-swing for another fabulous Frocktober! Hundreds of  Frockers have registered already; our CEO, Robin Penty, has hit the airwaves spruiking it, and we’ve hit up some second-hand clothing markets with a frocking amazing-looking exhibit!
It’s so exciting seeing all the amazing fundraising ideas coming through on our fundraising pages. If you haven’t registered yet or are new to Frocktober, here is your ultimate guide to frocking up and fundraising!

What is Frocktober?

Frocktober is Australia's most fashionable fundraiser. It's the look-good, feel-good, do-good fundraiser. Every October, Frocktober invites Australians to dress up, stand up, and speak out for ovarian cancer research. Getting involved is simple: dress up (whatever that looks for you!) start conversations, turn heads, and raise funds. No sewing skills, fashion degree or big wardrobe required, just enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to stand out.

Why frock up?

Ovarian cancer remains one of the most lethal cancers affecting women, and research into it is still critically underfunded. Whether it's one big show-stopping look or 31 days of fabulous, every frock you wear helps fund the research that could change that.

How to take part

Everyone can take part in Frocktober – it’s so easy!

Frock your way

Dress up your way every day, once a week, on weekends or on one show-stopping day. Frock up with a team or go solo. This October you can make a style statement that makes a difference!

FROCK @ WORK

Bring your colleagues together for an important cause. Everyone can dress up and join in. Frocktober at work is flexible, social, easy and a great way to add a fun, high-visibility campaign to your workplace social calendar.

Host an event

Throw a Frocktail party, a fashion show or any occasion, and turn a good time into a good cause.

Frocktales

Hear from some of our amazing Frocktober ambassadors about why and how they are frocking up this year for ovarian cancer research!

Rhiannon Anderson

Rhiannon Anderson is renowned as the enthusiastic, bubbly MasterChef Australia contestant who made it all the way to runner up in 2023 and returned in 2025. But there’s a serious side to this talented culinary enthusiast: as someone who lost her mother to ovarian cancer, she’s frocking up this year in memory of her mum and to raise awareness for women’s health.

School of Frock

In 2020, in the grip of COVID lockdowns, four primary school teachers rallied around their dear friend who had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer to discuss how best to support her. They soon discovered they had all stumbled separately but serendipitously on the same, perfect idea: Frocktober. And so it was decided: Georgie, Clare, Alicia and Gemma – in support of Annalei – settled on Frock Up Fridays. School of Frock was born.

Candice Hung

Returning for another successful Frocktober is the inimitable Candice Hung. For Candice, Frocktober is personal. In 2017, she was diagnosed by chance with a rare form of ovarian cancer while undergoing treatment for secondary infertility.
